This weekend the forecast seamed promising for snow. The Storm is moving from west and its going to be here starting this Wednesday. Most snow fall will be around the weekend. Denver metro area is about to get almost a foot of snow from Friday and Saturday. This will make travel extremely hard on I-70 corridor. Its important to be aware of this before traveling to the ski resorts from Denver International Airport. Denver to Vail travel will be hard at time with snow making it difficult to drive up to Aspen, Vail or Beaver Creek. Be careful renting vehicles from DIA area. A lot of the rental companies in Denver will rent vehicles not equipped with the proper tires. Make sure if you are renting a car has the proper tires and is AWD. The safest way is to get a private car service to your ski destination.
